Hello there! I’m Max.
I’m a photographer, actor and aspiring professional Simpsons watcher from Swindon, Wiltshire. I’ve been based in various parts of London since 2015.
Whilst the kettle is popping off, a brief history lesson! I started engaging with photography in early-2017 whilst trying to kill time between multiple lighting changes and endless set adjustments during tech rehearsals in my second year of drama school. Armed with a half broken iPhone and an assortment of filters, I set forth to annoy my fellow castmates, directors and... well, everyone, really.

Fast forward to now.
I'm continuing to work with the wonderful creatives I graduated with, both as a photographer and performer, plus many more in addition to them. I'm a proud associate of several theatre companies, and I've worked in conjunction with various festivals, artistic and social event teams, musicians and many more.
For me, the best moments lie in the times when the subjects are so lost in their own thoughts, their character, their work, the music, that they don’t have time to turn to the lens, shuffle awkwardly, and hope that they look good enough. As long as you're just doin' you, you're in your best light.
I'll work as closely as I can with you to ensure we get as much out of the shoot as possible. We'll have a bit of a laugh, an informal discussion about what you want to get out of the photography and any other matters you feel you need to express. Otherwise I'm just a dude hanging about with a camera, right?
All that remains is for me to step out of focus, for you to go at it with both barrels, and I'll capture you at your finest. You'll look ace, that's a promise.
